What we collect

Nothing. Scribble Capture has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We never see your screenshots, the pages you visit, or any identifying information.

Where your data lives

Captured images, your capture history and your preferences are stored with the browser's local extension storage on your own machine. They never leave your device and are removed when you clear history or uninstall the extension.

Page access

Scribble Capture reads the visible contents of a tab only at the moment you ask it to capture, and only for the tab you're on. It does not run in the background or monitor browsing activity.

Third parties

No data is sold, shared or transmitted to third parties. Exported files are written directly to your downloads folder by your browser.
